Post 7: Changes to my Study programme

I think there are a lot of things about my career and university that should change or at least improve.  In the first place, regarding the curriculum, theories and research from Latin America should be included mostly, since most of the knowledge from the West is prioritized over other existings in this territory, which are invisibilized by the white Western hegemonic academy. Secondly, regarding the extracurricular activities that the university offers, I think they should be more and with better access for all students, since many times the places are extremely limited in capacity and hours, which prevents many from accessing them. On the other hand, a problem that I consider transversal in Chilean education is the high academic load given to students (and consequently high workload for teachers), this in my opinion prevents proper learning, since instead of being able to incorporate a certain amount of content and focus on their learning, the process becomes a fulfillment of th...

Post 5: My future job

Well, let's talk about our future as workers.  For me, somewhat it is a difficult subject, because I am not quite sure what I will end up doing for a living, I study sociology, but I don't really see myself as a sociologist. Actually, I would like to have a job related to art, I imagine expressing ideas in various creative expressions for example making clothes or music (very different from each other, I know). And if you add to this the possibility of traveling and seeing many places thanks to work, it would be simply incredible. Regarding salary, it is not among my interests to earn a lot of money , having enough for a quiet life seems good to me, in general I am good at managing my money and every time I can I make other types of exchanges that are very useful to cover my needs. As I said above, I do not see myself doing a career as a sociologist, although I have learned a lot studying it and I think it is a very useful toolbox for multiple jobs, it is not an area in which I...

 I believe the art of filmmaking to be one of the finest creations of our society, as its ability to accurately portray reality by mixing sound and images is hallucinating. Filmmaking is also a source of a variety of tools that allows the creation and telling of both real and fictitious stories, thus giving form to infinite and diverse creations. However, the most remarkable feature of filmmaking is that it has made us all feel emotions deep within our hearts at least once in our lives. As it’s so versatile it can reach all types of audiences. Personally, my favourite types of films are those that give way to more questions, those films that make you think and ponder about life, that is, existentialist films. In the same way, I enjoy documentaries, drama, suspense and anime (if it’s possible to view it as a film genre). Post 2: THE BEST CONCERT I'VE HAD

The best concert i've ever had was from my favorite band of that time, Radiohead, they played at the Estadio Nacional on April 11th, 2017. They are a rock-progressive band with a long trajectory that began in the nineties as a universitary band. The music they play is very deep and it takes you to comunicate with your feelings and sometimes it can make you feel sad. Anyway, getting back to the main porpouse of this post, the day of the concert you could feel the excitment in the atmosphere, there were even people camping days before the event so you can imagine the expectation they created.  Is difficoult  descrives the sensation that makes you feel the expirience to be in a place with a lot of people thats share the love for the music that's been playing but if i tried the most nearest is the completely happines.  I remember that they i was really early on the enter of the stadium so when the doors where open i ran and stayed in the first line of the concert where i had ...

Hello blog friends! In this cold evenin I would like to tell you about a dreamy place for me to visit: Torres del Paine Nacional Park.  I think i would really like to go there because i love the could air, mountains and fast rivers that brings the south. In a few word is something that i can't explain but makes me feel alive. Torres del Paine Nacional Park is located in Magallanes and Antartica Region of Chile. House of woods, animals and cliffs, is the perfect place to go and lost into the wild. If i go there i would like to camp and do some trekking but most at all see the beauty of nature without human intervention. Finally add that i can see myselft into the future working there as a forest ranger principally beacuse i think there's nothing more that could brings me the peace of been in the middle of the woods.
